ICT Unveils Redesigned Website and New Logo

The Illinois Center for Transportation (ICT) welcomed the new year with a new visual "identity" that includes a redesigned website and an innovative logo.

Visitors to the ICT website will appreciate several enhancements including a comprehensive event calendar, a user-friendly search feature, timely news articles, and improved visual appeal. To keep abreast of the latest news in transportation research, visit us regularly at www.ict.uiuc.edu.

The new ICT logo (pictured to left above) includes abstractions of street shapes (road or lane line, exit ramp, intersection) and a green traffic light. The orange and blue colors are symbolic of the center's ties to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). ICT believes this innovative logo serves as a good symbol of the variety of cutting-edge research it conducts.

To develop and implement this new identity and redesigned website, ICT worked with Champaign-based graphic designer Jonathon Bonadies and Urbana-based consulting firm OJC Technologies.
